My writing credits include non-fiction articles published in international magazines,
my local newspapers and on the Web. I've also written e-books on genealogy and
research specific to writers.

My short stories have appeared in several anthologies including The Best of Cafelit
2012
, 100 Stories for Haiti, 50 Stories for Pakistan, 100 Stories for Queensland,
Shambelurkling and Other Stories, and Yesterday.

I've enjoyed tracing people's family histories for a number of years and wrote and
tutored an online course, 'Write up Your Tree' - a combination of research and
recording family stories.

A keen interest in Herefordshire's local history has involved me in various projects for
other writers as well as for a local government department.

My book
Trace your Roots
is a fully updated version of a previously published book and is now published by
Crooked Cat Publishing.

I co-wrote, with Lorraine Mace
The Writer's ABC Checklist
published by Accent Press in January 2010.

I was winner of
The Writers' Advice Centre for Children's Books
2008 competition with Betsy Fudge and the Big Silence. My children's book, Black
Dog's Treasure
is available on Kindle.
